Redding Convention Center

Whiskeytown Lake
This lake is part of the Whiskeytown-Shasta-Trinity Recreational Area and offers sandy beaches, marinas, camping facilities, excellent sailing and boating, plus numerous marked hiking and mountain biking trails.

Burney Falls
Burney Falls, once called the "Eighth Wonder of The World" by Teddy Roosevelt.  Not only does the water cascade 129 feet into a beautiful pool below, it also flows directly through the porous rock cliff.  Burney Falls State Park has excellent camping with 118 campsites.  Back to top


Mount Shasta
Snow-capped Mt. Shasta dominates the northern skies as you journey past Shasta Lake, the jagged peaks of Castle Crags, and the throughout the picturesque railroad town of Dunsmuir.  During winter, skiers can enjoy alpine skiing at the Mt. You'll want to check out Redding's new Discovery Village, located on Dana Drive.  Included in its many great shops and establishments is Starbucks Coffee and Manhattan Bagel.  Redding also provides two indoor malls and many major strip centers with major retailers like Macys, Costco, Target, Wal-Mart, Mervyns, Office Max, Office Depot, Home Depot, Barnes & Nobel, ShopKo & K-Mart.
